Re: No confidence in Verizon
I'm an AT&T subscriber and for the most part I am happy with their service, but nothing is more annoying than not being able to use my phone when there are Verizon subscribers all around me using theirs.

Re: No confidence in Verizon
@JohnDrake. I don't either. Verizon has had several failures. Time will tell if Verizon will deliver what they promised.

NBA
I wonder who Verizon beat to get the contract? It would seem that all 29 NBA arena would already have high speed fiber network. I wonder if some of this cost will be passed on to consumers?

Re: No confidence in Verizon
One thing they're good at is cell coverage--I was at a canyon area and was "dead"--and all who were verizon customers had no issues.

Re: No confidence in Verizon
The Verizon deal with the NBA will at least be good for publicity as noted when "Verizon will connect each arena using two 100G fiber circuits that will increase bandwidth tenfold." We can probably expect to see lots of Verizon ads on future broadcasts.

No confidence in Verizon
I don't have a lot of confidence in what Verizon does anymore. Too many missteps. Maybe in a couple of decades they will have their act together.
