Old batteries are the worst.. But there's a reddit dedicated to batteries and trying to find replacements!

No kidding! On a weight basis, printer ink is definitely up there with gold and other luxury items, for sure... It's almost as expensive as some pharmaceuticals. 

I tossed all my inkjet printers and went with laser printers.. toner doesn't dry up.

@Ariella  yes in my case I'm trying to fix my old Zune player battery... not easy... also for old tech is not easy to get parts...

@Ariella  in Canada we are few good years behind and I still buy rubbon and correction tape at 0.50 cents each at the thrift stores in my city...  and it still available online at staples.ca :) lol but it true...

Your comment about the cost of printer ink reminds me of an accident where a truckload of printer ink spilled on a highway, and observers joked that it must have been millions of dollars of ink....
